It’s been five years since fans have gotten any new music from Jo Dee Messina, but she is now making up for lost time but releasing a trilogy of three EPs this year: Unmistakable: Love, Unmistakable: Drive, and Unmistakable: Inspiration.
Unmistakable: Love has nine tracks and is scheduled for release on April 27th. It features seven new songs and two live acoustic songs, and includes the first hit single, originally released in January, “That’s God.” The release dates for the remaining two EPs are still to be determined, but both will be later this year.
Messina is supporting this latest effort with a roster of North American tour dates this fall, so check back for more tour news. Jo Dee Messina tickets are your ticket to hearing her new music; but if you can’t wait, the first EP can be pre-ordered through her website now.

Jo Dee Messina released the first single from her fifth studio album today. The single, “That’s God,” is the first new music fans have gotten from Messina in five years.
The single comes from her highly anticipated album “Unmistakable,” which is scheduled to debut on April 13, 2010. The whole song is available for streaming on her Web site, and she also recorded an interview where she shares the writing of the song and what it means to her.

Jo Dee Messin will perform at the CMA Festival this summer, among the biggest names in the country music!
The event will be held June 11th through the 14th in Downtown Nashville, Tenn. Initially, the annual party was created as a Fan Fair in 1972 to celebrate the loyal fans of country music. The event features concerts, autograph signings, family activities and much more.
Messina has been touring since early April on her “Music Room Series,” which features an intimate setting for the singer to connect with her audience through her music and stories.

Country singer Jo Dee Messina didn’t let a small think like being six-months pregnancy keep her from carrying on her tradition of participating in The Boulevard Bolt on Thanksgiving Day.
Messina expects to film a video for her upcoming single, “Unmistakable” six weeks after giving birth. The album is expected to be released in 2009, but can’t be confirmed at this time.

Country singer Jo Dee Messina announced yesterday that she is pregnant–and in her third trimester!
Messina, 38, just celebrated her one-year anniversary with Chris Deffenbaugh, 28, last week.
“We knew we wanted to have kids, but we just said, ‘Whenever it happens, it happens.’ And it happened!” she says. “We were both surprised at first. It’s such a lifestyle change. But then we’re like, ‘Wow, we’re going to be parents!’” she told People Magazine last week.
Messina and Deffenbaugh are expecting a boy sometime in December.

Jo Dee Messina debuted in 1996 with the single, “Heads Carolina, Tails California.” Her album was certified “Gold” by the RIAA. Her second album, “I’m Alright” produced five Top 10 Country hits between 1998 in 1999 and sold over a million copies in America.
Since her debut, six of her singles have peaked at #1 on the Billboard Country singles chart and five of her albums have received a certification by the RIAA or the CRIA.
